4Source electronics AG starts its business on the 1st May, Labour Day, in Dresden. Initial staff: 4 employees - 2000:
Boom year for chip brokers – the company has great sales and grows quickly due to the worldwide component shortfall, 9 employees. - 2001:
4Source buys up its first inventories and hence develops a second business segment as "stock keeping distributor" - 2002:
The company grows despite the difficult economic situation, a capital stock increase helps with necessary investments, 14 employees. - 2003:
The warehouse grows and develops. As part of the expansion it is extended according to ESD guidelines, 16 employees. - 2004:
4Source develops new sales territories in Western Europe, 19 employees. - 2005:
The expansion of the EU makes the Eastern European countries more and more attractive; 4Source tests the waters, 20 employees. - 2006:
Laying the foundation for continued growth: 4Source moves into new offices at "Atrium am Rosengarten" in Dresden, 24 employees. - 2007:
The certifying process, started in the previous year, according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 is completed successfully, 25 employees. - 2008:
4Source boosts its commitment in the increasingly important Far East markets, 30 employees.
